Whattup yall. Check out this video for a promotional song me and EOM did for Fast Lane Daily. Fast Lane Daily is an internet tv show for car enthusiasts. You can check it out at fastlanedaily.com or on the FLD Youtube page.
The video was shot, directed and edited by our good friend Andrew Kurchinski. Check out his work at his myspace page . He is a very talented dude! AK also worked on our videos for “The Adventures of Larry and TIna”, “Music and Liquor”, and our new video/short film we’re about to drop on September 2nd. He’s originally from Newport News, VA but now he’s living in Los Angeles trying to build himself a career in the entertainment industry. Anybody that know AK knows that he doesn’t fuck around when it comes to working hard and making videos look as good as he possibly can. New Wax and EOM video release date = September 2nd

Just wanted to let yall know that Wax and EOM’s new epic music video will be released on the interweb on September 2nd. We are really excited about the video, especially because we put a shitload of time and energy into it. It is almost completely finished as I type this it just needs a couple “touch ups”.
I will be on the radio tonight if any of you guys are interested. My homey Sean Green runs a show called The Green Room…I have been on the show before and I’m looking forward to being on it again tonight. The show starts a 8 pm Pacific time and you can listen to it at LATALKRADIO>COM . I will be doing a song on the air live and I will be getting interviewed. I’m sure we will end up talking about some dumb shit as usual!

Sometimes I will just be posting shit on here that I saw randomly and thought was tight. Thanks to my boy The Eugenic for putting me onto this video. This dude is talented as fuck and the beat bumps hard.
Oh yeah, another cool thing that happened to me recently that some of yall might be interested in: Talib Kweli gave me props on twitter. Might not sound like a big deal but I thought it was real tight….Kweli has been a big influence on me. If you go to the Music section of this page and listen to some of the rapping I was doing with my old band (especially on the song “Light Dimmer), I was VERY heavily influenced by him at that time. I listened to that Train of Thought album probably more than any other album I’ve ever had.
Anywho some people I know (shot out to Cornell Reid and Andy Milonakis!) put him onto my shit on youtube. He posted “who the fuck is @bigwax?”….then after some people sent him some links he posted “@bigwax got bars”. Made my fucking day and now I’m bragging about it!
Ever since then I’ve been listening to a lot of Kweli shit. I feel bad I haven’t been keeping up with Kweli lately considering he’s one of my favorite rappers ever. What sucks is when I want to listen to his shit I always end up going back to songs I’m already familiar with. Music has that nostalgiac quality that makes you feel like you’re back in “the good old days” just because you’re listening to a song from that period of your life. Familiarity is comforting and with Kweli’s shit I can pretty much recite every lyric off his first album as well as the Black Star album. I promised myself that this week I’m gonna check out a bunch of Kweli’s new shit (not to mention Mos Def has a new album and my DUMB ass hasn’t even checked it out yet…WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?). I used to know exact dates of album releases and shit, I guess now I’m such a self absorbed prick I don’t know what other people are doing. Damn man. Regradless, here’s a bad ass collab from Soulive and Kweli that you may or may not have heard before.

Whattup duckies. Just wanted to thank everyone who voted for me in the A1 Steak Sauce Contest. The contest is now over and the winners will be announced on September 1st. I have always loved A1 Sauce but I’m sure a lot of you are sick of me constantly promoting it. I will no longer annoy you about voting for me!
Within the next week Wax and EOM are gonna be dropping two new videos… one short one and one long one. So get ready to be amazed by our overwhelming amazingness and jealous that you are not part of our direct group of associates. That was a joke or something I guess.

I don’t know what to call this damn music video. It’s too epic to just be called a “music video” but when I call it a “short film” I think people get the wrong impression. I don’t want people to think it’s me and EOM walking around in berets and communicating in mime then all of a sudden it says “FIN” and a French girl smoking a cigarette claps her hands ironically.
It is a music video it just contains more than one song and some actual “movie” looking shit. I don’t wanna give away the title until it drops on Youtube. Regardless if you’re in LA you should come out and check out the show:

Whattup to anybody who looks at this website. I have no idea how many people that is but i gotta give a shotout to the homeys MeatLoafEnchilada, Rob G, marlymarr, AK, Drew Hammer, DOM, galen, vic vega, herbal t, and all the other people who have commented on these posts. I’m glad people actually read the shit. If they didn’t I would sit in my room all day crying while listening to Morrissey/Dashboard Confessional mashups and screaming “WHY ISN’T ANYONE INTERESTED IN ME????”
Anywho, tomorrow night me and my boy Adam Jacobs aka Ajax are putting on yet another Wax and Ajax show…. this time at a new venue for us. We used to do the show at Cafe Muse which was great but this new spot, The M Bar, is definitely a step up. One thing this place has that Muse didn’t have is a projector and a big ass screen….because of this we have decided to premiere the new Wax and EOM music video there. It’s actually more like a “short film” than a music video. Shit is epic straight the fuck up.
This video won’t be on youtube for a while after we show it tomorrow night so if you wanna be amongst the totally hip scenesters that always know about the new shit first, come on out to the show tomorrow night…..or if you’re not in LA but know someone who is, tell them to come out. It’s FREE ADMISSION!!!
The video was directed by Casey Chan, a very talented up and coming director and a good friend of mine. Word on the Hollywood streets is he’s sucking all the right dicks to get into the industry! I’ve been doing 16 bars a day on youtube to promote the A1 contest I’m currently in. Now I’ve decided to ask people to put up topics to rap about. The first one I chose was John Stamos. You remember John from his role as Uncle Jesse in the hit TV sitcom “Full House”. Beach Boys fans may remember him from his oh so historic appearance as the percussion player in the “Kokomo” video. Anywho, I made a quick beat by sampling the Full House theme song and here’s what I ended up with:

I’m uploading 16 bars of rippy-rap every day until August 23rd when the A1 Steak Sauce “Sing for your beef” contest ends. I am really trying to win this contest and it has become quite a battle now. There is another entry that has been doing really well with promotion and I gotta try to keep up with it. I’m looking at this contest the way someone who works for 100 percent commission looks at their job. Take a real estate agent for example; the agent might put in 200 hours worth of work to sell a house to have the whole thing fall through at the last second. All that work with no payoff. You still gotta put in the work though to make that shit happen. I am going to try my ass off to get people to vote for me in this contest.

I’ve been trying to think of a creative way to promote the upcoming Wax and Ajax show as a youtube video and for some reason it’s just not happening. I’ll try again today. Sometimes you just can’t think of shit that you haven’t done before.
Anyway, for now I’ll let the people who actually visit this site know what’s up with the show. The show goes down next Thursday night at The M Bar in Hollywood, CA. It’s at 1253 N Vine St (corner of Vine and Fountain). The whole thing starts at about 10 pm and IT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE TO GET IN!
The M Bar is a dope spot, I did the Liquid Courage CD Release Party there and it was a success. Hopefully this one will have a god turnout too. The lineup consists of Wax, Ajax, Good Neighbor Sketch Comedy, Johnny Pemberton, Neil P, Kyle Kinane, and Cornell Reid. Me and Neil P do music, the rest is comedy.
