Do you think it would be OK?

This is my new video I just uploaded last night. I just woke up one day and started doing this shit. Music is weird man the more you try to make it “your job” the more you realize that it doesn’t work like that. Once you start putting “to do lists” together that throw songwriting in with business-esque tasks the harder it is to do those songs. I’ve been trying to force a lot of stuff recently, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. The Esmee Denters remix for example was a to do list item that worked, and the stuff I tried to do this past Monday night was an EPIC FAIL and resulted in me being pissed off that I essentially wasted a bunch of time. Usually the good shit just comes from out of nowhere. I guess that’s God or whatever you wanna call it.

Anywho, I really like this one a lot. It makes me happy. I hope yall like it too.

Man this song is too great. Makes me really happy too, keep doing what your doing. I really love your rap and this acoustic kind of music, just all around my favourite musician.

ps you should definitely put out another youtube mixtape but with the acoustic songs like holy water, the one for amy winehouse, the wax live in hollywood stuff, hey you acoustic, the billie jean cover and all the rest of that juicy goodness.

Yo Mike, huge fan here, also a fellow MC just starting out. In regards to your paragraph about this video:

Rakim himself mentions, “at certain times, it’s just
time to write, and it flows the way I want it to flow. It’s
almost like I get numb and it just happens.”

If you ever get a chance, shoot me an e-mail I wanted to talk to you about somethings.

Keep doing your thing though, trust me you have “it”

I absolutely love this. I think this is my favorite song by you ever. I can’t stop listening to it, it makes me smile.

Just remember no matter how frustrating things may seem at times it’s all going to work out in the end and it is completely worth all of it. Thank you for being awesome and making my day better with your little slice of amazing.

*BIG hugs from the big apple*

You never cease to get the jam hot Wax!

An acoustic mixtape would be pretty crucial indeed. “Seh used to be mine” might be a nice addition too; that song was just bonkers. I will fedex you a twelve pack of Boh for that shit actually. Typed word is bond. Besides, at the Nap-town show I remember saying I’d buy you one but then drunkenly forget-reneging.

On an interesting side-note, I’m seeing the skinnee J’s acoustic at the Recher next week; and the last time they played there was the first time I heard of y’all and copped Beat Camp Tactics.

Nevertheless, keep pumping out the jams and I am serious about that Boh.

Man, I have been listening to all your music ever since I first stumbled upon your new crack video on youtube. Its all dope as fuck, and honestly, if one day you could do a west coast tour and make it up here to Victoria BC, you could rock the crowd. Your work with EOM is too good for words. Thank you and keep em comin!

Randomly found this while procrastinating online and a dance party happened in my dorm room.

    Thanks for that.

Don’t stop rhyming and hit up the east coast sometime,
take it from a college sorority girl — over here, it will definitely be ok.

Hey! I’m a 25year old comic artist from Sweden (not Switzerland) and I just found you through RWJ =3 on youtube
and well, I’m just sayin… it would be toootally okay.

I have now announced to all my friends and family that you are my new boyfriend and that we’ll probably get married sometime in august this year.

I know and understand that it’ll be a big change for you to have to leave California and move here to Europe… You’ll probably miss some of your friends and what not.
but I’m confident that you’ll manage. And not to forget that you’ll have your wife (that’s me) for support aaall the way. ;)

Say hi to my mother in law 2 be from me!
